Fringe star Jasika Nicole has revealed that the show's current season will feature a flashback episode.
The actress told GiveMeMyRemote that the new instalment will follow directly on from a previous flashback episode, season two's 'Peter'.
"[Episode] 15 is what we're shooting right now and it's another flashback episode," she said. "It's probably going to be bigger and better than 'Peter' because it's a flashback in both universes."
Nicole explained that the as-yet-untitled episode will focus on Walter's kidnap of a young Peter (Joshua Jackson) and the effect it has on his doppelganger Walternate.
"You're seeing the aftermath of what happens when Walternate's son has been kidnapped and how that's destroyed his life and his relationship with his wife," she confirmed.
Nicole previously hinted that future episodes will focus on a new twist in the relationship between Peter and Olivia (Anna Torv).
Fringe returns to Fox on Friday at 9/8c
